writes: ever since i was about 15 i have felt ready for a baby, then i just thought that its hormones, well im 19 now, and my need is even stronger, it hurts sometimes when i think about it, i want a child so so so much, and then when i think about it more i panic that i wont ever have them, sometimes i stand and look in the mirror and hold my tummy, wishing that there was something there. if i baby sit or see a small child i get a longing feeling some one please help me what can i do Reply to this Question Share |

It's hormones. Some women have this switch that just flips and they feel like they need a baby. Like you just wake up it's there. Have you tried talking to a doctor about going on the pill? That can help. You're smart to know you should wait to actually have a baby.

Wait! Just make other plans, get passinate about something and let this play itself at the back of your mind and in the pit of your tummy. Been there too. These feelings kicked in at 15 and never really went away. Buried my head in studies, football and having fun. Was told the worst, what I secretly had feared came true - that I couldn't have children. I was 21. Plenty of appointments, then told with assisted conception. Hope? Huh! Messed about then got pregnant! Aged 22! Why so much detail? To let you know that there is hope and that it will happen. Do not fear! It is beautiful when it happens, just get on with life and when the time is right it will definately happen. Enjoy life!
