What can I do to tell her to stop?

A female United States age 26-29, anonymous writes:

my friend had failed.we became friends.she always talk behind my back and call me names.

i call her names she gets mad. i told her it upsets me when she talks about me the same as it do to her.she says i say around other people same as she do.and she is really starting to get on my nerves.

she says when she is talking about me she is playing and i take it seriously.but she does it all the time until it's not funny anymore.

What can i do to tell her to stop?or ignore her and let her keep talking about me?

Mr Me agony auntI think you ought to take the higher road and find a new friend. Ditch this girl as she isn't a good friend. Friends are always there to support not tear down (to your face or behind your back).

You wont be able to say anything to get her to stop, I don't feel.

Well, you could just keep up talking about her, with more and more bad stuff in it, then when she gets pissy use what she says about you against her. Maby then she will stop. Maby.
