A female Ireland age 36-40, anonymous writes:

not so much of a relationship question, but I get pain 1-2 days after I have sex with my bf. It's hard work because it means I am often bent over double crying and my bf feels awful. It happens quite often and I have had a normal smear test result. :(

tennisstar88 agony auntDo you have heavy really painful periods too?

Reason why I ask is that's often associated with endometriosis; pain during sex is a symptom too. The only way to diagnosis this is thru a surgical procedure.

Are you on birth control? That can slow down endo growth and help with the pain.

I'd get STD testing done and talk to your doctor about the pain and what you can do about it.

That was my question exactly. Go directly to your doctor and explain this terrible pain to your doctor give he or she every detail even if it seems insignificant.

IHateWomanBeaters agony auntWell, the pain could be a result of him being well endowed, if that is the case?

Your vaginal canal could be shallow, and you he could be hitting your cervix.

Also, what is more likely, is that you have Pelivic Inflammatory Disease related to a possible Chlamydia infection.

I would get tested for all STDs, and when Chalmydia tests positive, they will give you Doxycyclene, which is an antibiotic.

Nursing student.

Good luck
