writes:hi, basicly i got called a peado on the way to work by two school girls about 15 years old cos essentially i looked at them, i got through the cow gate (i go accross a field) i noticed they were waitibng for me to get through so they could pass through and i looked up at them made eye contact with both of them and they started screaming peado , baring in mind this was next to the school and they wer shouting it for quite some time, i always pass them or sometimes one of them every day on my way to work, and for some reason they always say somthing for example one time they said 'eeeeeeeeeer dont look at me' and other times they call me a freak, i have no physical defetcs or anything im normal good looking chap on my way to wrok and i get all that thrown at me.... i bike to work with a mate on this occasion of them calling me a peado hi biked on my own. my question is; w$hat do i do about been called a peado? all they have to do is tell a teacher and my life could essentialy be ruined.and why would they start throwing abuse at me for no apparant reason??? hopefully they wer trying to provoke a reaction wich i didnt give them i ignored them but i dont know.what shall i do? reader, anonymous, writes (16 November 2011): This is verified as being by the original poster of the questionhi, just an update this morning they didnt call me a peado (yey) instead i had a stone bounce of my bike -_- it wasent malicious i caught them outa the corner of my eye and they kinda thew it in the air for me to ride into, but non the less i had a stone thrown at me, f*** knows what i have done wrong, as for biking a diffrent route i could do then id have to take the main roads asin big main roads and it would take me a lot lot longer, as for them possible fancying me, work mates have told me that but surely thats a funny way of showing it??? but ill see how it goes, ill get my sister to tell speak to the headteacher cos my sis is in sixtrhform and see what headteacher says and ill take it from ther, but im very reluctant to say something to the girls, (if they wer boy it would be a whol lot diffrent) bbecause they could twist it in any way shape or form ie, thanks for your replys tho :)

 They were just being silly immature teenagers, and perhaps, since they are tring so hard to get at you, that may be exactly because they fancy you and you don't pay them any attention.
But, if you live in a small place, this can be bothersome, it could perhaps start nasty gossips. Nip it in the bud. Go talk to the school principal, explain him what's going on and that if it continues you'll be forced to press harassment charges. I think the principal should be able to handle the situation discreetly and make them stop bothering you.

I would tell somone first and let them handle it. Thats the high road anyways. If u want payback, walk right up to em and say "actually im not a pedo and even if I was I wouldnt,be attracted to such ugly low life brats!". Ok now that I got tht outta my system. Im gonna assume u r less confromtational then me and would do the right thing. Tell someone who will tell there parents and demand an apology. Tht will we the smirk off their lil bratty faces

 They are obviously being brats, however if it worries you I would go talk to their school/teacher/headmaster.

First things first, you did nothing wrong. These girls think it's funny to hurl abuse at strangers, shows you how mature they are!!
I really think that you should speak to the school and inform them that two female pupils wearing school uniform are targeting you on a daily basis. I had a situation where a boy from a local high school was stood at the side of the road as i was driving along and this child actually threw his bag across the road infront of my car!! I called the school the next day and informed them. They said that they would take the matter very seriously and held a school assembly. The child then 'handed themselves in' as such and i received a letter of apology from that child, as he had no idea of the consequences of what he did (luckily i didn't hit anything or crash my car!!)
If possible, try finding a new route to work, to avoid more confrontation.
