A female United Kingdom age 30-35, anonymous writes:

I've been sleeping with a boy without a condom for a few weeks now, stupid i know but he did tell me he's infertile. He only knows this because he's never got anyone pregnant before, including past girlfriends.

He's never used a condom and his girlfriends weren't on the pill, so i do trust him. But as he doesn't know for certain he's infertile i think.....just think i may be pregnant.

It's only been a few weeks, but i was just wondering when the best time to take a pregnancy test would be, and if there are any tell tale signs to pregnancy in the first few weeks.

Also i am quite late on my period which is extremely unlikey as i've never been late before!

Please help my mind stop worrying!

Infertile?! You've got to be kidding me. How naive have you been?

Pregnancy tests can be done from the first day of a missed period so get one and find out for sure.

You might want to get an STI test too because if he's had unprotected sex with other people then your health is at risk. If he's given you something and you don't get it treated, you'll be the one who's infertile.

Next time, be intelligent enough to not listen to his pathetic excuses and use a condom.

lotus mama808 agony auntYeah it's a good time for a preg test. I've had 2 kids, and in my 1st trimester (first 3 months), I was tired, a little nausious, my tight little jeans felt a little too tight, a little moody and hormonal. Some ladies get a little dizzy. It's almost like being on strong antibiotics, if you've ever been on those. Good luck.

A female reader, babymamma626 United States +, writes (22 May 2008):

babymamma626 agony auntWell I used to think that I was infertile because I never got pregnant and I had alot of unprotected sex with my boyfriend. 4 years later I ended up pregnant! As for him saying that he is infertile just merely based on never getting anyone pregnant before he is FOOLISH!! That is no way to tell! And for you if you are late on your period take a pregnancy test NOW! I found out I was 5 weeks pregnant and I was only a few days late on my period (which was odd for me 2) Pregnancy tests can determine if you are pregnant 5 days before your missed period. So any time is safe to take one. If it comes up positive you need to go to a doctor. If it comes up negative then chances are you probably aren't pregnant. Sometimes stressing out over things can cause you to be late on your period. If it's negative expect your period to arrive very soon! If your period would happen to still not come then I'd go to the doctor as for other problems could be present.
