reader, anonymous, writes (30 August 2009): The only part of your question I can really comment on is the part about a guy liking you but you not liking the guy. For 2 years this guy liked me and it was really embarrassing for both of us. It got so bad I stopped being friends with him. 6 months ago I started talking to him again because my friends said he was over me by then. It turned out he still liked me and I felt really bad but just the thought of him made me gag! A few weeks later I went on a school trip of about 40 people for a residential in France. I wasn't going with my friends so I didn't know anyone at first. Soon I got plenty of friends on the trip but he was there as well. It was so embarassing because they all thought we were going out. When I told them they weren't and the situation they were all very mean to him whenever he was near me, not about him liking me though. I joined in and by the end of the week he hated me. I still feel really bad but I got carried away and he can stick up for himself, but I didn't know what else to do.So that's one way to get rid of someone but definately as a last resort!
