writes: I would like some female advice. I really like this girl in my year at school. We used to go out a couple of years ago for a few months but then stopped because everyone in the year found out. One of her friends asked me if i was still interested in her but i lied by saying no. I think about this girl all the time and dream about her. The thing is i am too shy to go up to her and ask her out and she seems the same way. Today for example in form class she stared at me for a couple of minutes whilst stroking her hair. I don't appear to have any attraction to other girls apart from her. i enjoy playing golf, she likes horse riding but do you think i should ask her to come and see me at the golf club in the summer holidays?What other signs would there be that she was interested in me and how would i make an approach to her taking into account that she is always with her friends? please note that we are both very shy.

 Hair stroking when looking at you indicates she likes you. When a girl starts to subconciously touch herself this way, and looks at you when you are not looking is a positive sign. I suspect the feeling is mutual, otherwise why would you feel this strongly about her if she hasn't been giving any negative signs, and it seems she has'nt come across in any negative way. Best thing to do would be to ask her out casually, say something like...Just going to so and so after school, do you fancy coming along? Sounds easy and can appreciate that as you are shy it will be hard, but hey you might as well give it a go before someone else does!! I'm sure she will be well pleased...she might well be waiting for you to make the move...go for it, you have nothing to lose...! x

hi im natalie i was just reading your problem and i would like to know why you atopped when everyone found out about you two being a couple? yi think you should get this girl wether on her own or with her mates and tell her how you feel it can only go one way or the other. and oppisites do attract if you and her had feelings for one and other before then there shouldnt be much of a change.
