I understand people will tell me to stay away and don't go there or whatever but I really want to understand, in a way, the laws and what happens if it's under that age. It's just a simple question that I have, because I have thought for a while now if you are over 18 then its okay? or am i mistaken?I would totally appreciate ANY feedback on this, it would be greatly receivedThank you a lotxxxx Reply to this Question Share |

Hi - I am a teacher and as far as I am aware - any student under the age of 18 ( and definitely one under the age of 16) is considered a child and is considered "out of bounds" for obvious reasons.
However, once an adult (over 18 years), I do not know of any student-teacher relationship that hasn't been permitted out of school hours.
If the relationship takes place inside the institution then there is a risk of being caught and then being sacked (whatever the age)!!
We are only human so be careful!

If I remember correctly, is automatic termination. Your age will not change anything with this rule. If you are under 18, then he/she can end up in front of a judge making an attempt to not go to jail(if intercourse is involved. Now there might be some "fine lines" to this rule but for most education systems you will find yourself without a job and PROBABLY will never have another job as a teacher/professor, especially if the other participant is "not of age". Hope this helps.
