writes: hello there me and my girlfriend just tried to have sex for the first time (for both of us) and after a little foreplay we got down t busness and i put the protection on and then the problem, it wouldnt go in, we are both very nearly seventeen and seems as we are both virgins i have no idea what the problem was, we didnt get annoyed with eachother or anything like that but in the end it just didnt happen, do you think its because she wasnt 'open wide enough' or something else? i await eagerly your response :)

reader, anonymous, writes (13 December 2010): a good thing to do that worked for me my first few times because we had the same problem is to have her put a pillow under her bum, with her positioned at the edge of the bed, then you stand/kneel on the floor and go about it that way! gives you greater maneuvreablilty!

Lube is helpful. I had similar issues during my first time. Its also good that you performed a little foreplay before hand. I'd suggest extending that if lubrication is the issue. It does take a little more effort the first time, but be patient and you'll get it.
Don't be afraid to talk to her as well and ask if she's okay, if she's comfortable. Its a rough experience the first time and you want to make sure its a special one to remember :)

aww bless you, my friend had this problem.
as she is a virgin she is likely to be very tight and she may be feeling a bit tense which makes it even worse.
make sure there is ALOT of foreplay and use some lube to keep her lubricated. what i would probs recommend is go in a little further each time you attempt to do it. this way it might be less painful for her too.
make sure you both keep relaxed
