I have noticed since I got it that I have put on a hell of alot of weight :/ .. I have read up about people not being able to shift the weight and its hard to lose it. Before I had it fitted I was happy enough with my weight and image but now I am so insecure and depressed because of the amount of weight it has caused me to gain. I have read some peoples stories and I came across one saying that she has implanon and is a vegaterian and eats healthily and excercices regulary, yet she has gained weight? I really am thinking about getting it taken out but its so handy and you dont need to remember to take a pill everyday! I dont want to gain anymore weight! What should I do? Any advice people? 3

Wow I did not know that sort of thing existed. My general advice would be to look into switching to another form of birth control. But because this one does sound alot easier and I'm sure you went through a whole process of choosing this one in the first place I say try really pushing yourself with exercise. Maybe you will have to switch though just because of how this reacts with your body.
Hope you can find some happy medium that works.
