writes:Ok hi, me and my wife need some advice on how to stop wantign sex when we can't have it such as when we are out or in the day when the kids are in, ones 17 and the others only a baby. We both work during the hours that our youngest is at playgroup/nursery and the eldest is at college. How can we stop this from happening? Why is this happening? Also what can we o when we do suddenly want it and can't have it, like is there anyway to make the feeling go away? Reply to this Question

I have a 5 month old, and she takes at least 2 naps a day and sleeps at least 8 hours a night. Can't you have sex at night? That is what we do. Just have sex when the baby is sleeping..

reader, anonymous, writes (22 September 2007): Ah the age old kids,when you want to have some fun.I wouldn't suggest putting a squeal on each others sexual desires,it is great you both adore each other still after years.My husband and i, with 2 boys in the house,yes quickies work wonders,and kids dont miss you for 10 minutes or so at a time.It also adds a bit of spice to life,the bathroom,while baby naping so on.As the kids got older, we learned to pop a favorite video on the tv,and you will get about 10-15 minutes,to disappear,before they decide they want a drink or some sort.

 i think it's great that your sex drive is still high in a long marriage. as for making it go away, asides for thinking about something really off putting, then no.
sometimes a quicky isn't such a bad thing, and your kids would never know! as long as your wife wore a skirt for easy access, you're away, seriously, 10 minutes is all it takes sometimes, and i'm sure it's not abnormal for you two to be "pre occupied" for a couple of minutes?
i think that way you don't lose the romance and you've spiced up your love life aswel!
