writes: Does anyone have any exciting date ideas? Something that will make us both laugh together and be lots of fun?We want to do something exciting Friday night, but i just cant think of anything to do in the evening that fits the bill. I can think of loads of daytime activities that would be good and lots of fun, like kayaking, surfing etc. But am stuck a bit on the evening. We have done dinner and drinks a lot and go to a comedy club but I feel like doing something that would get our heart rates up and energise us after a week at work.

Do you know what....my boyfriend and I had the same predicament a few months ago. We've been together ages and hadn't done anything 'fun' for a long time - just the same boring day-to-day stuff. So we went to a theme park for the afternoon and had absolutely the most brilliant time. It was like being a couple of kids again - we screamed our heads off (which releases tension!), laughed (which brought us closer), ate candyfloss and hotdogs and went on the crappy rip-off stalls. Basically we just did loads of fun, stupid stuff. It was the best 'date' we've ever had!!!!

If you are an adrenaline junkie...I am at a loss.
If you want fun things to do and learn something...then thik of anything you wanted to try or learn and have at. Even if it is just for a few nights...start exploring your artistic sides...take up some painting classes...drawing...how about glass blowing?

Having drinks and dinner gets old when that is all that you do. Trust me, there are lots of fun things you can do! Good luck and have fun.

You don't mention dancing. A nice nightclub is always good to get your groove down. If you can find a place that has a good dance band that plays mambo, salsa, and/or swing, where you can hold your partner and get the heart rate pumped up at the same time. It can be romantic and fun!
If you can't dance, take lessons.
Have fun!

Hi there, Why not try: Bowling? Ice skating? Swimming? Squash? They could do the trick for getting rid of energy after the week. You never know it might turn into a regular thing for you both. Is there a local leisure centre near you? Have a look what they have there?
Hope it goes well for you.
