Hello. I'm New and Well...

I'm sorta worried. I've know my friend for a WHILE~ and We just hooked up. We are SO~ much A like! Clones maybe. Ha! Well, one day we hung out and just enjoyed our selfs. and when we came back we watched tv and well... I guess we got close. We had sex and stuff. It was both our first time. and Um, We used condoms.

it's been 2 or 3 weeks since we "did it", and through thoughs weeks I've been feeling Very different. My sister Said She was about to get her period, and we get it near the same time. and that is SO~ helpful, cause I don't keep track of my period time. My breast have been Super tender, my tummy has been hurting a lot. I've been SUPER sleepy. I've been sleeping way more than I usually did. and I've been eatting more than usual. and I always wanted milk.

Um, my bf was the one who brought it up. he thought I might be pregnant. and Well, at first I was like "Nah~. I'm just going through a Phase." and then later on I started getting worried. We spoke about and stuff. he said, if I am pregnant he will be there all the way for me. That made me super happy. but I didn't want to ruin anything for him. I really like him. I love him.

Well, today, I got my period. And we both were super happy. when I came back from school, I went to check my pad, and well, it was how it was this morning.

and I read that, sometimes when you are pregnant, you may bleed a little. So I started to worry. But then it started coming down a lot afterwards.

But it's so weird. this has never happened. The way my period usually is-- is way different. It's usually hell the first day, and a lot comes out. But this time it's "a little -- Stop. A lot, then a little, then stop. and so on.

We both read up on early pregnany symtoms and stuff, and I had A LOT of the symtoms. but then again, most of them were the same symtoms as when you get your period. but this is weird. My breast and stuff was never THIS tender. Then again, maybe they are growing. But it still doesn't explain the other stuff.

Maybe I'm just weird. And Sorry for typing so much. and sorry for my horrid spelling. I was suppost to just give questions. So here:

- Do you think I maybe pregnant?

- how should I go about telling my sister about this? [I wanna keep it a secret though.]

- What places usually sell Prenancy tests? The places near me are just called "drug stores." not "CBS" or something. I'd like to know a Store name that would sell that stuff. Be cause the stores near me don't sell them.

- Also, my sister said I am too young to see a Gynecologist, even though I'm 17. Yes, I still think I'm a Child, but I think I should go. But I'm scared to ask... How can I tell her, I think I need to see a gynecologist?

PS: sometimes I won't want to eat for a whole day, but I eat something small, cause I know not eatting for a day is not good.

the symtoms we looked up that makes us think I'm pregnant:

- Difference in Menstruation

- Swollen/Tender Breasts

- Nausea [I feel a little gag reflect thing going on. Probably from all the milk I've been drinking. It's usually after I drink the milk super fast. lol.]

- Food Cravings

- fatigue [it's weird. to have both. I can't explain how that is so.]

- mood swings

- backaches [I have back problems though. But they stopped a while ago. and now they are on and off.]

I think that is all of them... I feel like I'm missing a few.

TMYK agony auntThank you k_c100 and ArmyMedic.

I didn't think of that. I've been eatting A lot more during the 2-3rd week. Now I'm sorta eatting less and Less everyday... it's not A lot, but somedays I'm just not hungry at all. I won't want to eat anything. i might just eat like, a little nibble of something and that's it. Lately, I haven't been able to finish my food. unless it's a small meal. like cereal or oatmeal. i would get full.

I do Have a few things I don't like about my body... I have been thinking about it, but I would Just complain. I wasn't thinking of doing anything to fix the problem, i was more concerned if I was pregnant.

I have lost a bit of weight, which shocked me, because I don't think I have been doing anything to actually lose it.

The "Milk" thing. it's just regular milk. I dunno why I've been drinking so much of it. I have a few glasses- probably 2 each day. Even on days I don't feel like eatting, I drink milk. My boyfriend thinks I drink too much, because I add a lot of milk in the food I eat [which have been cereal and oatmeal.] and then on top of that, glasses of milk. it feels like... I'm having something I haven't had in a while, and I really like it, and I don't wanna stop. But I've had milk before. just not THIS much. before I usually just had like, a half-a-glass of milk, or a shot of milk.

I dunno if this means anything, but when I was younger, I had an eatting order. And I wouldn't eat at All. And when I did, I would get very sick. And My parents would beats me because of it. [the court took me away. The beatings got out of hand.] I hope I'm not developing an eatting disorder... I'll be even more worried about that...

ArmyMedic agony auntYou are within child baring age and have had sex, there is no reason not to see a gyno.

Yes you could be pregnant, but what is this "milk super fast" to me it sounds like some kind of diet shake or supplement, as other aunts have said, you could be pregnant but it also looks like you are trying to loose weight and these symptoms could also be the signs of an eating disorder.

You must see a doctor as soon as possible.

k_c100 agony auntI think what you actually have here is the early symptoms of an eating disorder rather than pregnancy. You say you you dont want to eat for a whole day - why is this? Are you trying to lose weight? Are you unhappy with your body? You havent made it clear whether you have only started to not want to eat now you think you are pregnant or whether you feel like this all the time. If you feel like you dont want to eat all the time then this could be an eating disorder and you need to see a doctor to get this checked out.

Basically if you had sex with a condom and it didnt break then the chance you are pregnant are very low. I'm not American therefore I cannot give you a name of a pharmacy that will sell pregnancy tests but I do know they are widely available and that if you cant see one in your local pharmacy then ask someone as they may keep them behind the counter. Seen as you have got your period again this really does reduce the chances that you are pregnant, it sounds like you are just going through some normal teenage changes - my periods were different every month from about the age of 12 until 18!

With regards to your symptoms, the reasons why I fear they may be signs of an eating disorder is because - the fatigue is a clear sign that you are not eating enough, as is the hunger you are experiencing. Mood swings are common when a person is not eating because the brain is starved of essential vitamins and nutrients to help is function therefore your brain wont be functioning properly. Changes in your periods are also signs of undereating - anorexics often stop having periods all together.

If you have made a conscious decision to stop eating then you need to see someone pretty urgently. If this feeling of not wanting to eat has happened only in the last couple of weeks then I am fairly certain it is because you have this idea that you are pregnant so firmly rooted in your head that you are scaring yourself out of eating!

Make sure you take a test just to put your mind at ease but I'm pretty certain you are not pregnant.

I hope this helps and good luck!
