writes: I'm 28 and my bf is getting 30 this December and we have this long distance relationship going on for 5 years now, however we haven't even met yet because I am halfway around the world. I can only see his old pictures online like in friendster, myspace which are the same as the ones he had sent me before. I talk to him once in a while through cellphone and we email each other 2-3 times a week. I have been asking him if he goes out to date other guys once, he would usually reply "no". HE lives in New York City but grew up in a very small redneck placein PA. Is it self-control or is he just lying? Am I living a fantasy or I'm just pathetically gullible? He said the last time he had sex was with his ex-bf that was 6 years ago and doesn't even know what sex is! Do you think LOVE will still work out by the time I get to New York City soon?

why not try to ask him to give each other a chance to get to know each other more! why not meet now and make a holiday together so you both will see if this 5 years long distance relation will really come true. if not' then its better to move on the reality of life... C'mon dear 5 years is long enough.... good luck...

Sorry but I don't see how you can say you've been in a relationship for 5 years when you haven't even met .. sounds more like a fantasy thing for you both. You don't really know each other and you have no true grasp of each other's lives. By all means stay in touch but I think you'd be better to find someone you can actually meet and spend time with .. good luck.

My boyfriend didn't have sex for six years at one time so it is certainly possible.
