Be careful what you put out there because it usually comes back to you. Walk in alignment with integrity and choose to be a good person.

Not only will you lose your so-called bff (let's say she's more of a best friend for now or "bffn"), but a number of shared friends will side with her and not you.
In the end, you MAY have this guy for a short while... but it will end badly.
I wouldn't necessarily tell your friend as though he's this awful flirt behind her back. Didn't you help create the situation? Aren't YOU an awful flirt behind her back (a worse violation, btw?). What might he tell her about you?
Back off. Get your own boyfriend and have respect for your "best friend".

Do the right thing and tell her what he's really like!
I'm sure you wouldn't like it if it was the other way around! She's your best friend, if you get with him all you'll be doing is stabbing her in the back, do you really wanna be that kind of friend??

Think about this, if he really did want to be with you, you think he would only be flirting with you behind his girlfriends back? Its not right to your friend and its not right to you for this guy to be playing you too. Chances are if you get with him, he might flirt with some girls behind your back. Your friend is always there for you and will always be there for you. Stay loyal to her and not this idiot.

Stop! I know you like him but this is your best friend's boyfriend. How would you like it if you had a boyfriend and she flirted with him behind your back?
cut contact with him, avoid him as much as possible, get over him, and find a guy who isn't taken.
I hope you do the right thing.
Good Luck :)
