So about a week and a half ago my girl friend of 3 yr decided she wants space and needs time to think about what she want. she said it was a break/break up. she says she dosnt know if she still wants to be with me and she dosnt know how long it will be till she knows.

i was very upset about this for the last week and a half and texted her alot called her alot and begged her not to do this and just give me a second chance i now know that just made it worse and pushed her farther away but she still dosnt say that she wont come back to me. we did hang out a couple days ago and she did kiss me and tell me she loved me, the next day i texted her asking if we could work things out and she said she didnt know and that things would just go back to the way they were since then i have no contacted her and am going to try not to for the next couple weeks unless she contacts me. im very lost and dont know what to do or what to expect. sorry this was very long and thank you if you respond. help me please!!!!

A female reader, anonymous, writes (19 June 2009):

If she wants space then the best plan is to leave her time to think things through, which is what you are doing now. Well done. I know it's hard, but crowding her and forcing her to see you isn't going to help.

ilovebowsandcherries agony auntany idea why she broke up with you?

i mean maybe she is having doubts about her feelings for you.

all you can really do is wait until she gets hold of you.

that's all i can really suggest hun.

you just have to leave her be and have her space until she currently decides what is she wants.

Hope this helps.
