Was she trying to make me jealous?

A male United Kingdom age 30-35, anonymous writes:

Hey,

So my problem is this, at a flat party a year ago I drunkenly made out with a girl I work with. Afterwards I told her I liked her however she had just ended a relationship and said she didn't feel ready for another one yet. So a year has passed and we fell out for a while to begin with and eventually we started talking again and we get on okay now. But one day after her shift she was getting drinking with one of my friends who was new to the workplace and was apparently trying to annoy me by making me jealous by getting cosy with the guy she was with but she isn't interested in him because he already has a girlfriend as well as a child, supposedly she believed I still liked her but I never told her or anyone else that I still do, so my problem is that I am unsure if this was just her being a b**** or if she was trying to make me jealous for another reason, any advice would be greatly appreciated. Don't know if this will help at all but we are both 18 as was the other guy.

When you next go drinking and she's there try chatting and get cosy to another girl present and covertly monitor her response to the situation.people who have secret feelings for one another at these events will always slyly eye one another without being caught and pretend to be strangers and uninterested in one another, but sooner or later there's a spark that gets things going.
