writes:okay today my friend went completely mad and started shouting at this girl and calling her a slut. so basically the girl walks home with the guy my friend likes and another guy but the other guy wasn't there so it was only the two of them. on the way home they must of gone to the park or something and he took a photo of them to hugging and put it as his profile picture. my friend didnt even know they talked to each other so when she saw this she flipped out. was she out of line??? Yes your friend was out of line. I know you guys are young, but it's very immature of her.
She just likes the other guy and he's not her boyfriend--so she has no business calling the other girl names out of jealousy.
Another thing she should realize, is that he may not like your friend and he likes the other girl. Also, your friend won't look any more appealing to him if she's calling this girl a slut etc.

I'm afraid your friend was out of line.
Your friend might like this other guy, but she's not going out with him. She has no claim to him whatsoever. So for your friend to then have ago at another girl for no reason at all is totally out of line.
Basically, your friend needs to understand that she has no claim to this guy, and has no right to get mad at another girl for getting luckier. That's just bad luck, and your friend should have got there first.
Sounds to me like your friend is a bit of a drama queen to be honest. But, she is your friend. Support her as a friend, but distance yourself from her comments or you'll get dragged into a mess.
