My boyfriend has done the same... he basically says he is joking but after a while it makes you think. He believes people that are swingers are comfortable with their marriage or relationship, me on the other hand, I beg to differ. I wouln't ask her again, but if it really bothers you then you should. Express to her your concern, I'm sure she will like the communication!

if it's what you want, then ask her again. if not, don't go there again.
the swinging lifestyle is full of danger to so called happily married couples. most couples get into this because there is something missing in their own relationship.
the initial thrills gained may be not worth risking your marriage.

Sounds like a joke to me. But then again, it couldn't hurt to ask. And I too wouldn't advise taking that route.

Moo's Mum is right, ask her seriously this time.
Unless you both are fully on board, I wouldn't suggest the swinger lifestyle. You open yourself up to lots of problems for your relationship, jealousy and STD's beging the big two.
I'd venture it was a joke.
