There is one person in particular that I happen to really like (as a friend) and she's flipping out because she believes that it is not a platonic friendship. My wife believes I'm flirting with her and I honestly don't see it. This is a recent text conversation that my wife found on my phone. Am I really flirting...or is she blowing this way out of proportion? Friend: Hey, now I know who you remind me of.....(the name of a famous actor).Me: I don't know that I'm flatteredFriend: He's hilariousMe: Not sexyFriend: He's cute.Y does everyone have 2 b sexy?Me: Not everyone just mefriend: You wanna be sexy?!Me: Of course. Buddy you are totally out of line.
If I found that on my husbands messages I would be devestated, put yourself in her shoes.
How would you feel if she was talking to another man like that???
I suggest you start paying more attention to your wife and talk to her.........
Honestly, that is really really bad

Yes. That is flirting. And really inappropriate. So for the sake of your marriage... stop it.

You were definitely flirting with your friend when you told her she was sexy. Why do you think she made a reference to your family? She was obviously uncomfortable with your sexy comment and wanted to make sure you knew where she was coming from. Why don't you focus your attention and flattery on your wife? In the end she's the one that matters the most and she will only love you more for it!
