writes: i'm going on 16 and i'm pretty skinny but now that i'm actually growing lol i'm starting to get stretch marks on my butt and hips, wat's the best coco butter to use for this? i want to either minimize their appearence or just get rid of them, my friend told me to do squats and it will get rid of them by stretching them out more? i didn't listen to her. =]

You're young, too, and scars tend to fade more easily when you're your age. It's because mitosis (cells replicating) is faster when you're young.

I agree with eyeswideopen Palmers is very good.
Bio oil is also very good. I have an 18 inch scar on my back from a scoliosis operation and it seems to have helped so I'm sure it would also work on stretch marks.

Stretch marks are scar tissue, they can be minimized but they will never completely disappear. Palmer's coco butter is good stuff and for the price you can't beat it. Keep your skin as moisturized as you can and hope for the best. My calls my stretch marks from having three kids my "battle scars" and says I should be very proud of them. And you know what? I kind of am.

I would recommend seeing a good dermatologist. I'm sure they can do something, even if it's pricey you can always save your $$$.

well, ur in a pickle, good job u didnt listen to ur frined coz tht sounds a tad silly what she sed.
some creams work better sor some than others but ive hered boi oil works wonders but it can be pretty expensive though, just try different creams and oils, moisturisers also work well.
