Question - (6 June 2008) 2 Answers - (Newest, 6 June 2008)
A female United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

Ok so my best guy friend I knew him since kindergarten. We were always close we both moved to different states and went to different schools after 4th grade. Now I'm moving back to NYC where he is. And he is dropping little hints that maybe he likes me and wants to be in a relationship. But I'm not sure, so I'm scared to tell him I love him and I want to be with him.

I don't want him to feel weird around me or act differently. what should I do?

iamthesupreamegod agony auntfollow your heart... you will be able to live with yourself better if you take the chance and fail, then to never find out at all. and chances are that if he is dropping these hints.. then he is intersted in you too... the only warning i have is don't rush in... take it slow.

jay12toes agony auntwell a good start would be to causaly say something like "did you know i had a huge crush on you back in school?" know that wont tell you exactly how he feels now but knowing that he at least had feelings for you before and mabey even now will probably help.
