writes: I know all men masturbate and have had numerous conversations with my Partner about this, he always said he never did it if I was in the house. Recently I was still quite sleepy so he got up to have a shower. I decided to get up shortly after and walked into the bathroom to find him just setting out his newspaper on page 3 (naked lady alert) ready to jump in the shower and masturbate whilst looking at it. I was extremely offended and upset, he was very embarrassed but when I asked why he had felt the need to do this especially as I was in the next room his response was that I didnt seem in the mood so he thought he may as well do it himself. I'm more offended he had to look at his newspaper to do this it makes me feel inadequate and betrayed. Have I just to accept that masturbation is part of a man's make? PLEASE HELP as I cant get this out of my mind, I think I need reassurance that all men do this kind of laddish thing!

Maybe a lot of blokes don't use the printed picture but I would state that nearly all men mastubate. And nearly all men use the images in their head. It is a simple biological release.

 not all men masterbate when in a relationship, and most definatly not all men that do do it with page 3 in front of them,
ill never forget the time i was with a guy who wanted sex when i was too tired i woke up to see the poor stain covered pics lay out next to our bed the next day!
i was too insecure to say or do anything about it at the time, but when i finally did i came home to find him quietly having a little clear out and he never did it again, hence , they dont need to!

Yes, all men masturbate and it says nothing about their character, love for you, or commitment to your relationship. They watch porn, stare at other women, and fantasize about what it would be like to have sex with them. The important thing is that all of these thoughts just stay in their heads - they don't act on them.
