writes: I am 13 and 1/2 and i have been gettign my period for about 3 years now and when i first started for the first 2 years it was very regular about 25 days apart right, now for the past year it isnt anymore. Between 40-50 days apart and sometimes even 2-3 times a month? i don't get it. I wan't to get it regular but I have no clue on how to do so. No Rude comments please im 13.

Your period normally takes about 5 years to settle down and irregular periods are very common at your age. So it seems pretty normal to me. There isn't anything you can do to get your periods into a regular pattern. Just make sure you have a healthy diet and keep fit. I doubt there's anything to worry about here. Just check that there isn't anything else that could be affecting your periods, e.g. stress, your weight. If you're still worried, then pop along to your doctor but what you're experiencing doesn't seem too uncommon to me.

regular periods because i was going through the same thing you are
birth control just isn't used for "birth control" alot of women are on it for the the fact they regulate periods
