Each year, we here at DearCupid see many submissions asking, "What should I get my boyfriend/girlfriend/wife/husband/lover/partner for Valentine's Day?"

I think it would be great to consolidate these questions and some ideas into one place, so I've created this article to help out.

Aunts, post your ideas for great Valentine's gifts!

My personal fave gifts of years past:

bouquet of flowers; a book of black and white pictures of famous couples, with ours pasted in the last page; my favorite candy shipped from the shop that makes them; a gorgeous bracelet; a CD of songs that have personal meaning for us.

Ideas for guys: his/your favorite scent for men; game/music/movie for his leisure time; a home-cooked meal/cake/cookies/pie.

More ideas, aunts, please!

Abella agony auntEtsy.com is my new favourite place to find really unique lovely gifts.

Just make sure you factor in shipping time

So it is no point in visiting the site the night before Valentines day.

I find the sellers so helpful and really nice.

And so many handmade gift ideas.

Lots of handmade jewelery and lots of well priced items

tennisstar88 agony auntI think both these sites have an endless display of original gift ideas. Even if you don't purchase anything off here, it gets the creative juices flowing. They have everything from heart shaped spatulas, heart shaped egg rings(for your loved one who loves kitchen gadgets) to fortune cookies stuffed with lovely fortunes and to getting personalized boxers saying property of your "girlfriend's name".

There are lots of great ideas for gifts and special things to do together, and if none of these help, well just being together is the most important thing!
