Or should I carry on, until I need to stop to get a period as I would normally?Help?

No! Do not stop taking your pills. Birth control can sometimes cause "break through" bleeding. (Bleeding/spotting between cycles) if you have been taking your pills properly, on time and not missing any, you should be just fine. Don't worry, m'dear...
What's fun about being in a long term, committed relationship is sometimes making the choice to get on birth control and toss the condoms in the trash. But if you want an extra form of birth control, just in case, you can be fitted for a diaphragm, use a sponge, or a spermicide. All would help ease your mind just a tad. But, if your taking your pills, you should be fine. Just don't stop taking them. Its more than likely just break through bleeding. Which happens in the first 6 months or so of being on birth control.

First you should ask your doctor where you got the pill, second-sometimes the pill changes your period and third--believe me its a fact it only takes once to get pregnant!
That is a question for your doctor,he will answer it..nothing is a 100%!
