writes:Dear Cupid,There is this girl that lives in the room and board house I'm at who is very attracted to me, but I can barely look at her because she's so ugly. To describe just how ugly she is, not only is she horribly overweight, but she looks like a man with her broad face, buzzed haircut, smokes like a chimney, has only three teeth, and has only one eye. We talk from time t time, but she keeps trying to touch me, and even though I'm polite in conversation, she wants to be with me romantically. She's lonely, and so am I, but I don't want to tell her something that will hurt her feelings because I don't want to do that because she is nice to me. What should I tell her, and what should I do, especially when she already thinks I'm her boyfriend just because I'm nice to her?

reader, anonymous, writes (16 August 2009): nobody can be that ugly. try being Nice and tell her you are not interested. if all else fails, you are gay, right. she will run a mile or become your next best friend. women love to hang out with gay men so try that line.
