writes: okay, so i need help! i've been dating my boyfriend for 6 months now, he's everything to me. well about 2 months ago he was talking about his cousin and then showed me a picture of him.. turns out, i hooked up with his cousin like 2 years ago!! at the time i didn't react to it and didn't tell him about it. this past weekend we met up with his cousin and his cousin ended up telling him about our hookup. my boyfriend stayed calm and just kinda shrugged it off. now, 3 days later he is telling me that its bothering him a lot and he's pissed that he had to find out from him. it happened 2 years ago and i didn't even know who my boyfriend was!! its the past! buts it bothering him so much. i've apologized for not telling him and i've told him that he's all that matters to me and the only person i want to be with. he says he knows, but i know its still bothering him and its going to continue to bother him. i don't want to lose him over something like this. how do i approach this situation??

Give him space and let him come to terms with it. It was two years ago, and you didn't know they were related. If he can't get over something so trivial, then really he's not the guy for you. Give him space, don't hassle him and just let him come to terms with it.
