writes: Dear Cupid, This might be kind of a stupid question (it might not exactly be totally and completely fitting for this site, either), but if anyone could give me any advice, I would really appreciate it. See my hair is cut into bangs, for the past year or so and my girl-friends have been trying to convince me to grow them out. Why? I don't know. They're always saying that I'd look really good without bangs. That if I didn't have bangs, my acne would clear up faster because there would be less oil on my skin or something like that. They've kept at it for quite a while (like I said, it's been about a year), and I've always refused. On a field trip last year, I (quite grudgingly, if I might add...lol) agreed to wear my bangs brushed to the side for the day. They all said that I looked great, but I didn't think so. Then they asked my crush if he thought that I needed to grow my bangs out and he said yes. So, as you can probably imagine after I heard that I finally agreed to grow my bangs out...but the thing is, I never did. Now I'm considering on doing it this summer before I go into high school next year. The thing is (this is where it gets stupid...lol) though I'm not sure how to go about doing that. Do I just like start wearing them brushed to the side or what? How long should I let them get? If anyone has any advice, I would appreciate it greatly. Thank you!~Sarah~

My friend didn't want bangs either so she covered her bangs with a headband and left it on for two days.

Well if u really want 2 grow them out you could continue to wear them to the side as you have done. But this can get annoying sometimes so if you don't want them in your face all the time try brushing them back like if you were going to do a pony tail and tie them back with a cute hair pin or clip. This is a cute look and if you give them a little volume before you pin them it looks really stylish. Do this until they start growing out as long as you want them. And if you don't like how they look long, you can always cut them again.
