For example he makes a point of stopping to speak to me frequently in corridors and asking me how I am getting on. When I have been in his company with just one or two other people I have been aware of him staring at me for a long time, sometimes I am aware of his eyes almost boring through me when I haven't made it obvious I can see him. I haven't told my friends this, but one of my friends thought that the way he was around me indicated that he fancied me. I don't know how I feel about this because I am not good at reading 'signals' from men and the student/lecturer relationship makes it difficult to understand. Also the fact that he is about 20 years older than me complicates the situation.Am I just reading the signals wrong from someone who is just trying to be friendly? Reply to this Question Share |

It does sound like he fancies you.....are you attracted to him? or is he too old for you?....If you dont want this kind of attention then the only thing you can really do is ignore him, chances are,he will get the message. Its down to you on whether you want him to continue or not but as he hasn't been too heavy on you, then its not that annoying....but then again...its not me getting the attention.
