Hi,

I got some addresses from the internet because I'm trying to locate my mum's old best friends daughter, who I used to be in love with. But I am not sure whether I should visit these addresses and ask face to face if they know this person or write a letter and ask if they know of this person. Anyone got some advice? please?................

The things you have to think about is, if they have moved on and are in a relationship, can you handle that. If you feel you can and just need to know for closeure, then I think you should go for it because you'll always wonder otherwise. Just make sure you're strong enough to deal with whatever you find. Possibly write a letter and then if she gets in touch great, if not then you won't be left "standing on the doorstep" feeling embarrassed. Good Luck.
