You are just shy and nervous of showing affection in front of other people. And this will pass in time. I too went through what you are going through. Now it doesn't bother me at all!

Well its because you are not comfortable yet thats all! Don't worry, soon you will be more relaxed around him and your friends so it will all be ok, you just need to give it time and be confident, don't care what anyone else thinks! I promise it will be ok :) Just be yourself
Good luck

Hey, reader! This is a common issue with high school students, believe you me...But it's important to know where PDA draws the line and is acceptable in certain situations. Hold hands and kissing a little is fine in front of friends, and hugging is agreeable in school as well as hand holding. If you are uncomfortable with this, confront your boyfriend and say that you feel uncomfortable with this contact. Tell him you're unsure why, just like you told us. Explain to him your concerns and fears, and ask him for help. Maybe he'll take it more slowly. Good luck and enjoy life! -Carrie
