I made sure to tell him that i did not intend to take in any further since first of all, he is straight and married (with a daughter). and obviously it is illegal. The reason I actually told him was because I was worried I made it too obvious and he was distancing himself from me. He is actually ok with it and told me he was flattered (a whopper of a lie haha), he does not ignore me or try to stay away from me which I was worried about, but he said because of the conversation he had to tell the school administration about it because it could be serious for him if he didn't. He told me to not worry about it however, but thats the only thing I can do right now! haha. So my basic question, after all of this is, what will the school administration do about a teacher crush? * 1 week agoAdditional Detailsincase anybody is wondering haha, i came out (he is the first person i actually came out to) and told him because i felt i was making it obvious and was worried he thought i was trying to make advances on him.

The only think that they MIGHT do... is transfer you to another class. And I'll bet they would ONLY do that if your grades seem to be affected by it.
I wouldn't worry too much about it.
Have you told your parents (that you're gay)??? If there are parent-teacher conferences... it might come up.

The worst they could do is set you up with a school counselor to talk to, really. There are a lot of closed-minded people in the world, and in this case unfortunately, because you are gay, they may make a bigger deal out of it than it needs to be. Your teacher seems like a very understanding person, and I'm sure he would come to your defense if need-be. No one can expell you or suspend you because you told a teacher you had a crush on them, especially when you made it clear you had no intention of trying anything. Just be careful about those kinds of things. It's fine to trust your teacher enough to tell them something personal, just be careful when it comes to teacher crushes. Teachers nowadays get very nervous about those things for fear of being accused for sexual harassment and things of that sort. I think you'll be fine, as long as your mature and honest about the situation.

Firstly , well done for coming out, secondly i m not sure admin can do much to control the crushes of any young lad , gay or not. Your teacher has done the right thing and is not avoiding you because there is no need . we develope crushes for lots of reasons, not only sexual, quite often it can just be admiration for his skills or personality traits .
