It's just a piece of paper that won't change anything. He tells me that he doesn't think about it. He knows I do and tells me that I should continue to think about it because I have good ideas. He says we will get married but not until we can afford it. I know this makes sense but I can't help but think we'll never get married. Am I crazy for worrying? Reply to this Question Share |

Besides there is never enough money, that is life. The first mistake you made was moving in together, the second was having a baby and not being married, the third mistake is not getting married. You may or may not qualify for a common law marriage rule. It all depends on the state you live in and how you present yourself to the public. Look it up on the web to see if you have legal rights. If he does not marry you he is still looking for someone better.

You don't have to get married right away, hun, things will sort themselves out in time.
