Tips for a heartbroken insomniac?

Dumped by the guy I love + long-time insomniac = not very stable version of me

I'm too young (15) for many sleep aides according toy parents, but as I try to sleep, I can't help but to think of my ex that dumped me 7 months ago because my feelings were significantly stronger for him than his were for me.

Any tips on how to fall asleep BEFORE the tears start to fall?

Thanks

You need to make yourself tired. If you lie in bed and are awake then get up again. Go and do some housework, your parents will be thrilled and also realise that you are serious about not sleeping.

You need to do something PHYSICAL to make yourself tired. Go for a walk or a run in the evenings, and don't let yourself sleep in on a morning.

The aim is to wear yourself out so you want to get some sleep BEFORE you get into bed.

Good Luck!! xx
