In july I got my period on the 20th of the month it lasted for about 5 days. Than in august I got my period either the 20th or 21st of that month and it lasted about 5days as well. Now this month of september the 20th came and past and no period it is now the 29th of the month and still no period. I took a home pregnancy test the morning of the 26th and it said "not pregnant". But still no period. Please your advice would be most helpful.Am I pregnant or not. And no I have not mentioned none of this to my boyfriend at all.

tweetytoby11 is verified as being by the original poster of the question To add a few more things that may be helpful I am not on any birth control or never was on any. Also, Im not all that stressed out about the sistuation only because im not sure if I am or not and I know that stress can delay my period. Also, the last couple days I have been feeling like I wanted to vomit but never actually did throw up. I would also get really hot even when it was cold out.

Hiya,It must be really worrying you at the moment! It's a horrible feeling to not have got your period. I'm very late myself too and was very freaked out until my doctor told me it was probably stress and coming off the contraceptive pill. I would chat with your boyfriend and explain what's going on. He can help you seek advice. Maybe both of you could go to the doctor together and you could take another test, and the doctor could help ease your mind. How would you feel about doing that with your boyfriend? Sometimes stress can change your period, or other things like hormonal changes. Are you on the pill? I went off mine and now my period is taking a while to come back.The more stressed out you become, the more your period will be delayed - I know there's no way to avoid the stress and it's really not a nice feeling!! Best of luck and I hope it comes soon x x

 i agree with caringguy, take another pregnancy test.
The same thing happened to me with my boyfriend, my period was a week late and has never been late before and i took a pregnancy test and came up negative, but my period started a couple of days later

Go to a doctor if you're in doubt at all. Take another test. That's the best advice
