Hey all,

A few weeks ago I went to my doctor because I was having pain in my right nipple. He told me I had a blocked nipple duct and gave me some antibiotics so I went on holiday and forgot about it. The blocked duct was fairly erect at first, but it has now disappeared. Unfortunately the pain didn't go and I was also urinating frequently and felt tired and slightly sick so I went back to the doc's on Friday. He gave me a breast examination and then told me he was "strongly suspicious" that I was pregnant. He told me to bring in a sample of urine on Monday which I did and it came back negative. I've now started spotting slightly in my knickers, but it isn't heavy at all and although I have back pain it doesn't feel like period pain. I stopped taking the pill on Friday at midnight. Don't know what's going on - can anyone help??

k_c100 agony auntWhy have you stopped taking your pill - is this for an indefinite amount of time or just for your 7 day break?

To be honest no-one on this site is medically qualified to diagnose you - after all, this is a relationship site not a medical advice site!

Go back to your doctors, thats all we can suggest!

nailglitter18 agony auntAlso remember that pregnancy hormone levels rise later for some women - so if these are early signs, you're sensitive to hormone fluctuations, and so on, then a urine test may still come up negative.

Well if you came off the pill then that's going to give you crazy symptoms.

Go back to the doctor again and ask him to do a blood test to confirm pregnancy or not. Ask him what else it could be.

Good Luck!! xx
