I keep experiencing a strange pain in my vagina. Could it be something serious?

recently i have been experiencing a strange pain in my vagina...i wouldnt exactly call it a pain because it doesnt actually hurt..it's like a strange twinge feeling that lasts about 2 seconds. it doesnt happen very often..its probably only happened about 4 times over the month.. but the other night i was having sex with my boyfriend and i could feel the twinge as we were having sex. it felt very strange so we had to stop! i just don't know what it could be..as i said..it doesnt hurt so id feel wierd going to the doctors about it! im only 19...could it be anythin serious? thanks x
