Teenage friends, recently back in touch, how can I ignite a flame between us?

Can you rekindle a lost love??? We were teenage friends, nothing more just a chaste kiss now and then. Both of us moved away 35 years ago and have now got back in touch, we are both divorced. We seem to be total opposites, he sporty and conservative, me a smoker and love a night out. After years on my own I have grown to value my "own" time, so am happy for him to be off for the day, playing badminton or cycling. He doesn't know I smoke yet... hmmmm. However the attraction is there, we haven't done anything about it yet, but do you think we could do so. Both grown up and learnt lessons along the way and looking for love and companionship. Advice would be welcome please

Ask him out for dinner and see if there is still a spark, go for it you will never know unless you try.
