writes:hi I need some suggestions...I want to do something special for my boyfriend for his birthday we are going out of town on vacation and will be at a nice hotel and resort. I want to decorate the room really romantic for him but i need an excuse to get him away from the room for for at least 10/ 15 mins while I decorate it for him...Something that is believable because if its too bizarre he will know im up to something and i want it to be a surprise ...  When you and he are walking from your car in to the hotel lobby... point to a distant place in the parking lot and say, "Damn, isn't that Elvis Presley, arriving? I konw you like him... how about going over and getting an autograph from him?????"
THAT should "buy" you enough time for what you need....

You could tell him you're tired and was hoping he could grab some coffee while you freshen up in the shower? It would especially work if you drove from somewhere. Just be sure to be extra sweet if you do it so he doesn't get mad that you're sending him out of the room while he wants to relax
