I have really huge pores and sometimes there sore. Any advice and help is much appreciated.

When you go to your GP they will probably try some anti-biotics (oral or topical) and only as a last resort will they send you to see a dermatologist. I had the same problem as you, cystic acne developed on my previously pristine skin at the age of 24, it took several rounds of anti biotics to get a referal to the hospital, at which point the dermatologist said that although my acne was a problem it wasn't enough for the more hard core problems. Anyway to cut a long story short, the only thing that has sorted my skin out is 'skinceuticals age and blemish defence.' It's bloody expensive, so wait to see if the antibiotics help first. But try this out if all else fails. I'm not joking when I say this saved my life, skin and mental health!!!!! Good luck to you!

Adult acne is common. You probably displayed a few pimples in your teenage years and when you got in your mid 20s your skin just did a complete 180.
I also have adult acne, I will tell you that there's nothing over the counter that is worth a damn. You're just throwing away your money and efforts. Find a decent dermatologist your insurance covers and pay them a visit.
Depending on the severity, they have numerous topical gels (which can get expensive even with insurance) and oral medication to get it gone within months. Your skin is worth it, get to a dermatologist.

This isn't a question for a bunch of agony aunts; it's a question for a dermatologist. Acne and other skin problems aren't limited to being a teenager. The fact is, people have skin problems all their life. All the more reason to find a goof dermatologist that you like NOW - - - and shop around for one that you feel comfortable with and feel that is LISTENING to your concerns. I have Rosacea. Skin problems are SOoooo painful and hard to deal with. Bless. x x x
