Every subject bores me and as soon as I finish the class I forget everything. I'm a 3rd year in college and a C-average student. I have 2 more years to go but the classes are getting harder. I always try to study but I don't know what's wrong with me. I failed my first class this year. I don't even know how to study besides taking notes and reviewing my notes. I stopped buying textbooks to be honest without myself, as I have no patience for textbooks. Maybe I'm one of those who aren't meant for college but I'm here because I feel like I should be. Why can't I focus? Any tips? I feel like apart of my brain is missing or way behind everyone else. What should I do?

You get distracted because you are bored. Look at what you are studying and why. What is your goal? Are you at college to get a degree for a career that you want to have? Or are you there because your parents said that is what you do next? If you really want something, for instance to become a doctor or an engineer, you do focus, study, put in all the hard work required; because that is all for your benefit, that is where your interests are. When you know what it is that you are passionate about, what it is that you want, you will find that you will not get distracted, you will be focused, and you won't be bored. That will be the part of your brain that you feel you are missing. Good luck. xx
