[Excuse me if that that last remark seems offensive to you women reading this]Anyhow, due to the spotting [and her paranoid nature when it comes to her body] she's scared she may be pregnant.Would spotting before your period [assuming you are INDEED going to experience your period] be a precursor to pregnancy?Any and all information is very much appreciated. :)

Escalaya is verified as being by the original poster of the questionjust an update, the bleeding was related to the Depo provera shot, she's stopped taking it and the bleeding is going away, she still bleeds every once in a while, but mostly it's done with. :)

Two months ago i started bleeding inbetween my periods, but i just thought it was the cause of not taking my pill properly, but now this month after taking the pill properly, the same has happend to me, ecxept i started bleeding hafter having sex, and just 1 week before my period was due, and i don,t know why.
But she is not the only one worried.

Escalaya is verified as being by the original poster of the questionWe were using condoms, of course. Trojan-enz with spermicide lubrication.
And we religiously checked each condom (after use) for holes by filling it with water, to see if any leaked. Lol.

i would go to the gp because it may or may no be a simple shes pregnant or not. if you are not using contraception then its more than likely she is pregnant but you cant go on spotting as a tell tale sign..spotting could be caused by a number of things so tell her to see her gp to get checked out just encase you can never be to careful.. hope that helps aphex x

If you are having unprotected sex then she may be pregnant. If you were using condoms or she is on the pill then you are probably ok.
Periods are funny things and if you are in there shaking things about then it may have loosened a lot of the period up and made it come out.
Don't have unprotected sex and then you won't have this worry. In the mean time head to the family planning clinic for a test.
Good Luck!! xx

I have never heard of this, it is rare although it does happen that you may take your period during your pregnancy but as for the spotting, you may have spotting during pregnancy but its not normally a way to tell you're pregnant. Having sex can bring on your period if it is close to that time, you probably have nothing to worry about but get her to take a test just in case.
