I'm straight, and the thought of other women sexually repulses me, so I don't get why this would happen. Most of the time in the fantasies it's in a humiliating way, or to turn guys on. I don't really plan it out or anything, it just kind of pops into my head, and really I can orgasm to anything. I once masturbated to the thought of rainbows and apples. LOL. So if anybody can give me some insight that'd be a big help. I feel so disgusted afterwords, because I'd never do anything like that in real life.

Yes it could be just a phase you are going through because you are really justing getting into the mind set of someone who is sexually maturing so your mind likes to run through all the possibilities it has before it settles down on one option. It happens to straight guys with other guys too.
As for the period part it makes perfect sense because that is when women tend to have the most sexual thoughts. With respect to biology it is natural to want sex when you are the most fertile.
Either way I'm sure it will pass and it really doesn't have anything to do with your sexualilty.

To The Realist: Do you think they'll eventually go away? It doesn't even really particularly excite me, it's just there. Of course then the most I think about it, the more it's there. It's like a circle.

Honestly there's no need to freak out about this. Fantasies allow us to explore our sexuality in ways we never would in real life, and give us a safe place to push boundaries. There's no need to feel ashamed or disgusted! Maybe it's something you'll explore later in life, maybe it isn't. Either way, it doesn't matter. You're not hurting anyone, or doing anything wrong. It's entirely natural and doesn't mean anything!

It's just your mind and hormones running through with puberty. People can have no desire to actually do something to a person yet they masturbate thinking about it. Don't think to much into it because it doesn't mean anything here. There is no reason to feel bad about it everyone gets thoughts about things sexual and not that they don't know where they came from and they kind of shock them. It's just the mind cycling and combining ideas with it's own free will.
