A female United Kingdom age 41-50, a shoulder to cry on writes:

We always want someone to blame, someone to be held accountable for things in our lives. We rarly take responsibility for our own actions. We turn to the gods, karma and evil out of our control to take responsibility for things we or others have done.

Well after many years of pondering over who controls us, what is the greater power?

After reading Richard Dawkins best seller "The God Delusion" things started to make sense. After reading more of his work I found all my questions being answer and a whole lot of realisation stuck me. After learning to live my life for me, for now, for the people in my life who REALLY matter ive found a feeling of inner piece, and guess what, i didnt need any gods to help me find it!

When we start taking responsibilty for our own mistakes, start realising why we are all really here they may be a little less hatred, a little less heartbreak and a hell of alot more happiness.

True self realisation is an inncredible and empowering thing.

To all you looking for your saviour, your god, or just something to keep you sane when things are tough. Pick up this book, "The God Delusion" will help you realise whats really important. And for those set strongly in your beliefs, I dare you to test your faith and expolore a more realistic approach to life, no blind faith required.

Id love to hear what you think of the book and whether or not it has change your views or confirmed them.

thanks for reading xx

A male reader, leonard j.Douglas Philippines +, writes (9 July 2007):

There was only one man who answered all of the questions of life. Gee! What do you know, He even said he was the son of God,Yes,Even God Himself. But then lots of those so called good folks hung him upon a cross. Because they were serving their own gods, each other. And they had no need of a Johnny-Come-Lately's teachings of "Love Your Neighbor". Even to this day, No Orthodox Jew will call Jesus LORD, or Savior. Yet the Jewish Religion spoke of his Birth his life and his death thousands of years before any of the events ever took place. As for the Bible, everthing that man get his hands on he tends to corrupt, and the Bible is in no way an exception to this reality. Lots of those great and lesser Christian-Goody-Two-Shoes preach hate not love, all in the name of their God, but not mine. And their Flock will injest this Doctrinal Vomit as if God Himself has spoken. And that their God love only those whom they say he loves. Here you have a religiosity of sick minds and sicker hearts. How many of them would put their arms around a Bisexual,a Homoexual,a Lesbian or a Prostitute and say; "I love you". You are right,Not very many. That is why I gave up following sick minds and sicker hearts. Who say they are called of God, a God of Love. Yet All, that comes out of their mouths is the manure of hate towards others, who are biologically different then they are. What church would I be comfortable in? I am glad that you asked. It would have to have a congregational make-up of all people regardless of their Sexual identity. Now that's the kind of church I could live with. And feel right at home.

Mkay_Good agony auntPeople the the man/woman who wrote that book think that there is no god? Well trust me the most "important" thing in life is finding were your faith lies... not to think " Well there is no god so I should live life to the fullest before I rot in the ground" that is not how I want to live my life...
