I am leaning more towards making him something, like some arts and craft, cookies, or treating him to a couple massage session. What are some unique and affordable gift ideas that you can share? How about a board game with one rule: each losing turn means on losing one piece of clothing. The prize? Whoever lost the most clothes at the end of the game [or if you lost all before it finishes] in the winner! Confused? Yes, so am I actually LOL Or, if you can get a jar of chocolate for body paint, whoever lost all the clothes first be the "canvas" of body paint and the painter gets to lick it off too. http://www.treathim.com/product/chocolate_body_paint
Or, go to a nice chocolatier and get something made that reminds him of you (or your favorite things together). In chocolate! A good chocolatier can also make sheet chocolates sillhouttes of your/his face too! Or anything that can be made out of chocolates too.
But then, I a chocoholic .. so all I can think of is chocolates (and honey) LOL
Come back and tell us of your fun birthday celebration with your boyfriend!

What about a hot air balloon trip and eat your homemade cookies and have champagne in it?
Bit more expensive but if its been two years he must be worth it :)

I think your ideas are all perfect!! Why not make him delicious dinner, then give him a delicious massage - and playing in the background can be a mix CD (or playlist) that you made especially for him. After his fantastic massage, feed him cookies!
My boyfriend is leaning over my shoulder and already he's jealous!! Lol.
Good luck!!

Those are all good. I especially like the massage session idea. Would be nice to have a homemade supper with your cookies before that.
A gift is not about price, it's about having the person in mind when searching for one.
