Does he do little things for you that you think are sweet?
Does he smile when he sees you?
Do his pupils dialate a bit when he looks at you?

 Sounds cheesy but, eye contact is DEFINITELY a sign he's into you if he's making more eye contact with you than other guys you're friendly with. If he's self conscious about his feelings for you he'll probably keep looking at you and away again.
Leaning in towards you and being close shows that he is very comfortable with your company. So for instance, if he likes you, he will probably lean in towards you, but try to avoid eye contact, looking at you every few seconds.
A sign he doesn't like you is ignoring you, blowing you off, all the typical signs.
If he likes you as a friend but nothing more, then he'll just be like the rest of your guy mates - happy with your company but uncomfortable with being physically close to you.
