It's an EXCELLENT idea for a woman to carry condoms in her purse, in the event that she believes that she will be sexually active (some time).... AND, here's why it's so good:The latex or rubber from which condoms are made will deteriorate rather substantially in the pressure and heat of a guy's wallet. For that same condom, in the space of a purse, the chances of both the pressure and the heat are diminished.... so, the chances of condom failure are reduced....So... women... keep a condom in your purse and DON'T depend on a guy to use the one in his wallet.P.S. IF he has one in his shirt pocket, or in a "convenient" pouch that he has clipped on to his belt... then he is/was 'WAY too certain that he is/was going to "get lucky" that night.... so you really ought to steer clear of him for a DIFFERENT reason!!!!!

I think it's a good idea to carry them. I agree that you should never use one that's been carried in a pocket or wallet as heat can destroy them...

for me yes it's good for us to carry condoms since it would be our problem if we get pregnant, I am a kind of girl who believes in my own saying NO CONDOM NO ENTRY so if guys don't bring their own I can use mine :)

And always insist on one being worn, whether the guys prefer to wear them or not because it is so easy to pick up infections and diseases. Also it is relatively easy to pick up some STD`s from oral sex, so again, make him wear a condom for that to x

It's an individual thing but there's no reason why a woman shouldn't carry a condom or two on her just in case. I used to do it when I was younger. Just keep it somewhere discreet - I once went on a date with someone and the condom fell out of my pocket right in front of my date, much to my horror and embarrassment!!

Yes, just don't keep them in your pockets. You should never use a condom from a wallet. Condoms stored in wallets are weakened by the temperature changes and the heat.

Absolutely I believe ALL sexually active women should carry condoms, even if she is already on another form of birth control, unless she is in a monogamous committed relationship. Condoms are he only birth control that protects you from STD's.
I believe birth control should be an equally shared responsibility. No one should ever assume that the "other" one is taking care of it. I know a lot of men who hate wearing condoms, some even refuse to, so they most likely would not be carrying them. All women should carry them, and should not engage in sex unless the man agrees to wear one.

It's always worth playing safe. So, yes, women should also carry condoms.
