Should I worry about others hearing my girlfriend's moans during sex?

A male United Kingdom age 30-35, anonymous writes:

During intercourse last night in bed my girlfriend started moaning for the very first time since we started having full sex regularly from being virgins a couple of months ago. I was pleased to hear her because I'd been thinking the condom was stopping her pleasure. She said no but was now used to sex and was ready to let go.

Will she start moaning regularly now and should I be bothered about others hearing her because its very quiet in the flats around at night? Please help because I'm new to all this. We're 19 and 18.

Sageoldguy1465 agony auntIf you get good quality, industrial ear-plugs (available at most home-goods and/or DIY stores) you probably won't be able to hear anything.....

As for your "neighbors"... who CARES what they hear???

Good luck....

If you live with other people (roommates, or family members) then you should be courteous by masking the sound. Put the TV on or play music louder than her moans. No one wants to hear and imagine their friends or family members having sex; that's gross. So don't subject them to your sounds and gross them out. You surely wouldn't want to hear your parents having sex would you. But if you don't live with other people I think its fine.

Ayan Ganguly agony auntThe fact that your girlfriend is moaning during intercourse signifies she is now really comfortable and that she is relaxed enough to be herself during sex, there is nothing tobe worried and with the noise that you guys might end up making relax, you guys ain't firing a gun and killing around people but making love , but okay with the condom thing i could think its better you guys do consider using it,well it pulls down the fell-good factor but the condom does to an extent brings in the safety quotient,

Honeypie agony auntNope. If she enjoys herself don't worry what others might think. UNLESS you still live at home..

And honey, a WOMAN can't really feel a condom AT ALL. So keep on using them.
