He was the only guy I'd ever flirted with, kissed, held hands with, all of it. He was my first everything. I go to college in a very, very, very small town of only 8,000 people in the middle of nowhere. Unless some miracle happened, I'd probably resort to stupid online "relationships" in order to get any sort of affection from men in the event I felt I needed it sometime in the next 2-3 years. That said, the relationship I was last in was long distance, and I don't want to do that again. Altogether, we only spent three months in contact in the flesh. If I get into another relationship while I'm in college, I know he and I will end up moving to opposite sides of the country if we're still together when we graduate. Should I just skip all of that and not date anymore until I'm finished with school and have established myself as a young professional somewhere else?Thoughts? Thanks!

You should just go with the flow, don't tell yourself to do anything, wait for the situation to occur and take it from there. You can't plan life, you don't know what will happen. And in the end things might work out and you won't end up in other sides of the country.
